Fantastic tune & performance, got me groovin' to the beat!
Every night I stay up
Sing the songs that I love, for you
Hoping you might happen by
Decide to give my love a try, please do
If you choose to sing along
Maybe we can write a song or two
Show the world just who we are
Singing here beneath the stars and moon
Why not,
Let's try, love
You and I, love
You and I
You sing high, love
And I'll sing low
That's the way love goes
Any time that I'm blue
I just close my eyes and think of you
And when I am not around
I wonder if you think about me, too
We will play, we will sing
We'll do everything just me and you
We will show just who we are
Singing here beneath the stars and moon
Hummmm
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.

Kim Jorgensen || Spanish Lady (Original)
Here's an original song from one of my Berkeley Ukulele Club buddies, the Dashing-Dane Kim Jorgensen getting into the blues mode. Greg Blunt is playing a Road Toad semi-hollow uke bass and Kim is singing and playing a Kala jazz arch top tenor uke.

Kirby Krackle Music || Zombie Apocalypse (Animation, Original Song)
Necrophelia, a word that I haven't thought cool since high school is actually used appropriately in this song. Enjoy the animation and silliness. There's a lot of hits on the video -- maybe I'm the last to know about it! He posts lyrics in the YT comments for those so inclined.

honorsongs || Undone || Original Folk Song and More
Sometimes, I think these videos speak for themselves. But every once in a while you feel that you have stumbled on something very creative, deep and tender. I had just posted ErinBev on Humble Baritonics and this name from her friends, "honorsongs", grabbed me. This woman, Honor Finnegan, has such a lovely voice and a freshness to her music that is so uncommercial and folksy. Undone was the first song that I checked out on her YT channel which she has named, Songs in My Pajamas.

ORIGINAL SONG & CLEVER HOME MADE VIDEO
Here's some good uke playin', singin' and video work. Also exceptional use of cool T-shirts. The first song is an original, others are covers.
