Terry C. from Australia shares the Ukulele Ike and Martin Ukulele Love!

Terry C. has offered another gift to the Humble Uker Ramblings blog. Here is the beloved Cliff Edwards / Ukulele Ike posed with a cap and a Martin Style 2 ukulele circa 1929. This is an outstanding photo that comes in that so-hard-to-find category. Terry's previous stories have attracted many readers:

STATISTICS / THANKS

Started Stat Counter June 3, 2009 so in 3 months the HU blog has had about 11,000 hits. I can can see general information from around the world; and specific cities for each hit. Ron Hale, from the California Wine country, is my most prolific commenter. Mr. Kim J. is the most outspoken fan of HU at the Berkeley Ukulele Club. And Terry C., from Australia, has been the biggest article contributor. I can see that many users are making good use of the Ukulinkies. If you have a chance, drop me a note, tell me if there's someting you're looking for or something that you've found that you think would be great to share with others. Thanks, HU

Terry C. / Cliff Edwards Music / Vintage 1900's Video

Terry C from Australia has posted more Cliff Edwards songs on YouTube Bearetube. For us S.F. Bay Area Residents this video shows amazing footage from a cable car travelling down Market St. to Pier 1. This was filmed between 1900 and 1905, before the historic 1906 Earthquake and Fires. And we think traffic is unruly now, you gotta see this...

TERRY C PLAYS A MARTIN 5K

My first blog entry was about my Australian friend Terry C. He does have a video where he's playing a 5K Martin Ukulele. Thanks Terry I like those dancing hands.

Terry loves a fine instrument and this one comes with a fine pedigree too. Here's Terry's pictures and a storybook bit of ukulele history. Be sure to read this incredible story!
