I like this tune because you say you still make mistakes. Where were they? Thanks for being real. HU
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.

Oh, they're there all right!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting it.
It sounds great to me. Trying to find mistakes with Al's playing is akin to guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar (although I believe Monk did just this on the way to solving a case once).
ReplyDeleteThe piece & the playing remind me of the tunes Dave Evans wrote & performed on his Sad Pig Dance album (1974, reissued this year, I believe), wonderful, quirky guitar pieces in alternate tunings. Watch him perform a piece from this album - Youtube:
