Click the title above to go to Glen Rose's site, or use the UKULINKIES in the future. I have only known Glen for about 3-4 months but have found him to have mad jazz skills on the Piano and Guitar and he's bringing the same magic to the ukulele community. He's also very gracious with the sharing of his knowledge.

Yes, Glen has a new website which has his booklets Classic Jazz Standards for Ukulele and Jazzy Uke Workbook for sale. He also has a download section for study and review of his jazzy chords. He has one song, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, already posted and highlighted in red or blue to correlate with the major-jazz-chord and minor-jazz-chord patterns. There are links to the patterns on the same page.

I did have the benefit of taking a class from Glen at the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz pre-meeting workshop but I think any intermediate player that seriously wants to play jazz songs can study his download and start to puy something together. One of my scandinavian friends from the Berkeley Ukulele Club, Mr. Kim J., is totally hooked on this method and is memorizing every song.

I haven't mentioned Mark Occhionero (ocean-arrow) for a long time but he is also a great jazz uke player. Another gracious person, sharing so many good tunes on http://www.jazzukes.com/ and also found in the UKULINKIES section. HU
