Some unusual instruments, sans ukulele...
Knots Ukulele Solo
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.
I really dig the lessons and information you have on your site about ukuleles. Its sites like this that have made consistent musical progress possible for me over my 13 years of playing string instruments. Keep it up. IStillGotMyGuitar
ReplyDeleteHello Simon, I appreciate you taking the time to write a comment. The internet and YouTube have opened many doors and made us all aware that music is much more approachable than we thought. This Humble Uker Ramblings was created because I was an awful player and I was always eager to learn more. Now, I am a whole lot less awful but realize that there's so much more to learn. I get great help from another uke-fanatic named Ron Hale. He seeks and finds the newest and greatest daily. Jeff
