I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. Taken as a body of work, the S&U videos are the best uke music videos being made today. Thought-out, well-planned, you just don't see this quality much anymore.
In fact, you don't find many uke music videos anymore, period. Performance. That's what you see. Straight performance.
S&U provide good performances plus something extra. And that extra touch makes all the difference.
