This post is for the people that have attended the Berkeley Ukulele Club and perhaps haven't heard the news that the club will be making some changes in the near future. Mike DaSilva, the creator and host of the club, is making a career move to Hawaii where he will start again. He has a good deal going and needs to get his future settled. Mike has offered us so much and is due much gratitude for all of the concerts, classes and good times we shared at his shop and studio.
So we are in a state of searching out alternative venues and desire to remain as close as possible to the current location. I am offering my e-mail as a temporary place for people to stay in contact until something in the nature of a Yahoo Group or FaceBook page are created for us all to use for communication.
One location that has been brought up is Spenger's Restaurant on University Avenue. Perhaps another reader might have some amazing idea.
