Interesting YT Comment...
"We are the fans of the Ukulele Orchestra of the United Kingdom. Any similarities to The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain are purely coincidental and their fans should just suck it up."
TUKUO is having fun, and I HU do enjoy them. The ukulele is taking over the world. Blah, ha, ha, ha. I take TUKUO as they are, another act, some more musical fun and vastly different from UOGB. Now that these videos are posted there is an opportunity to see the actual audience interaction and response. I thank TUKUO fan for posting these videos. (I hope that their publicity people get their act together.)

A friend writes...
"Now, these videos are TUKUO being themselves. In other words these performances are a combination of Mony Python and some Andy Kaufman performance art (and he could be very annoying at times). So, if people understand this and just don't like this schtick, fine. If they understand this and don't think TUKUO do a good job of it, well and good. But, if they don't understand this, don't get it, and take it seriously, they'll run the risk of making themselves look silly. Which is precisely what is already happening. This is just my take on them, of course...

...I also think that TUKUO are making a very cutting commentary on the tendency of ukers to take things so damn seriously. It's just a ukulele, a silly little instrument and we're just ukulele geeks. Geeks who can't see that we're just ukulele geeks and take ourselves too seriously. So, tongue in cheek when you watch these. Being TUKUO there are odd things about them. Heh heh heh... How do you think they feel about the ability of their antics to turn ukers into raving maniacs? I'll bet they get a huge laugh out of it. I'll bet that's part of the whole point of what they do. Conducting an experiment on us and seeing how we react."
