"Saturday, 10 AM, in a Parisian café-concert... 20 musicians, amateurs or beginners, are about to make a name for themselves. The Ukulele Boudoir Team will turn their dull and poor life into a glamorous and exciting one! ONE DAY, ONE SONG: one day to team up and discover the 4 different arrangements of the same song. ONE DAY, ONE SONG: One day to learn, rehearse, record, shoot a video, perform live, experience fame and finally live the hard split leading to the end of a unique story."
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.

Those who don't parlez vous will miss very little if they read the notes you reproduced
ReplyDeleteabove, Jeff. You know how I feel about this one. Pure ukulele heaven, this should come with a sticker warning that the richness of the ukulele treats that come along with it may be too much for some.
Visually - ukes, ukes, ukes, everywhere, and in glorious close-ups. Musically - well, they know how it's done. It's that simple.
