Jim D'Ville || Uses His Hands and Good Ears

Jim D'Ville has burst out onto the ukulele scene in a big way. Unfortunately, I have missed him when he's given classes locally. Missed him at Burning Uke in 2009. I think that his blog is the biggest source for improving your personal performance. This is the first time I've seen Jim perform. I'm very impressed with his playing and the Joel Eckhaus made tenor Stradelele.

Here's a great 3-QUESTIONS interview of Alistair Wood of Ukulele Hunt. It talks about how Al figures out the songs that he creates tablature for his blog: link Jim also brings some of Carlos Casteneda's writings into the art of listening: link
