This is definitely a beautiful and professionally produced video. The ukuleles and the history of Hawaii is beautiful. But when I heard this statement of a motto on the 50th Anniversary ukulele, "The life of our Island is perpetuated by our righteousness" I knew I had to post this. I wish to back of any Righteousness concepts and dwelve into "the life of ______ is perpetuated by _______." That is a statement of a people feeling a connectedness. Which to me seems to be holy. What if we replaced "Island" with the "World into this motto." Then I think we would again need Plato and Aristotle to define "Righteousness" for humanity. Thanks Kanilea. Jeff / HU / HB
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.
