I have an old washboard now I need a brush. I like these simple multi-instrumental videos.
I wanted to create this blog as a place where I can store and retrieve information for future reference. I chose the name Humble Uker Ramblings because I have started out strumming my father's 1950's painted Harmony ukulele. I think that the greatest appeal of the ukulele as "the people's instrument" is it's humble simplicity. My contact email is HumbleUker@gmail.com. I have also been working on a blog for the Baritone Ukulele called Humble Baritonics.

Country, Uke & (Soft) Burlesque?
I thought this is an interesting blend of country style uke to the William Tell Overture, then the tap dancing started, and I thought, Jug Band! Whoops, no I was wrong -- Uke Burlesque! I wonder, will this catch on at the uke clubs?

BLOG: BICYCLE AND UKULELE
I have always been found of bicycling, not racing, but riding to just exercise the legs, lungs and see neighborhoods to enjoy the architecture and landscaping. I have enjoyed the Cycle Chic Blog from Denmark it shows common people on commuter style bikes and then I came across another blog which combines the ukulele and bicycle. The blog is written by Nipper and it turns out he's a member of the Nightowls.

TERRY C PLAYS A MARTIN 5K
My first blog entry was about my Australian friend Terry C. He does have a video where he's playing a 5K Martin Ukulele. Thanks Terry I like those dancing hands.
Terry loves a fine instrument and this one comes with a fine pedigree too. Here's Terry's pictures and a storybook bit of ukulele history. Be sure to read this incredible story!
